To help those new to magnetic fluid processing we’ve assembled some of the most frequently asked questions.

How does it work?

Z Magnetics fluid processing devices use a proprietary array of fixed magnets, metals and plastics arranged to maximize the molecular affect on the fluid to be processed. Each device is tuned for its specific use. For example, while they are similar, a unit designed for Aquariums may not be effective for drinking water. This Patent-Pending technology is the secret-sauce that drives Z Magnetics devices.

Couldn’t I just make my own unit with strong magnets?

Many of the scientific tests done in the past are illustrated and documented on the internet. Technically, you could create a unit that provides *some* of the same benefits, HOWEVER, the Z Magentics LLS secret lies in the configuration of the magnet array to have the greatest affect on the fluids. This Patent-pending technology would be difficult and impractical to recreate given the expensive equipment required to manufacture the components and assemble the pieces.

Is it dangerous?

There are no dangerous chemicals or compounds produced or used by the Z Magnetics devices. However, the array of fixed magnets is under extreme pressure and can be dangerous if disassembled.

Are your devices FDA approved?

No. Our devices are not the type that require FDA approval. They are easily sanitized and cleaned like you would any other pipe fitting or kitchen device.

How long will a unit last?

We estimate the life of the components at 100+ years. The environment in which it is used determines the life of the device. Heavy chemicals, physical damage and residue inside the device will limit its ability to function as designed. Home & Personal Use devices have a standard 90 day warranty, while Commercial and Industrial devices have longer warranties and vary from 90 days to 3 years but require pre-filtered fluids before passing through the Z Mag device.
